We weren't able to go out for Mother's Day or Father's Day this year so we've put together a special Family Weekend menu for you and loved ones to enjoy. Treat those special parents in your life this Family Weekend on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th, September. Enjoy a 2-course lunch or dinner from £18 per person (add a dessert £4) or if you prefer, dine from our main a la carte menu. Children's menu available from £6.50.

STARTERS

CRISP AYRSHIRE HAGGIS PAKORA
with sweet and spicy onions, mint yoghurt and poppadom shards

CHEF'S CHICKEN PARFAIT (GF)
served with a toasted rosemary salt focaccia, spiced pear chutney and a crisp house dressed salad

BLOODY MARY PRAWN COCKTAIL (GF)
atlantic prawns bound in a lightly spiced marie-rose dressing, served on a bed of crisp cos lettuce and vine tomatoes, accompanied with a wedge of locally baked bread

RED LENTIL AND ROOT VEGETABLE SOUP (GF, V, Ve)
with locally baked bread

WATERMELON, FETA AND BLACK OLIVE SALAD (GF, V)
on a bed of mixed leaves, dressed with an orange syrup

MAINS

CAJUN SPICED SALMON FILLET (GF)
pan-seared on a bed of smoked paprika mash, with tenderstem broccoli and a roasted red pepper cream and finished with a charred lemon wedge 

ROAST SIRLOIN OF SCOTCH BEEF (GF)
served with baby carrots, cauliflower cheese mornay, creamed champ mash, crispy duck fat roasties and a yorkshire pudding and drizzled with a rich veal jus

BREAST OF CHICKEN AND AYRSHIRE HAGGIS
encased in a crisp, light pastry, accompanied with creamed mash, sweet baby carrots and tenderstem brocolli and finished with a Balmoral sauce

PORK LOIN ROAST (GF)
stuffed with apricot, apple and ginger, with sweet baby carrots, tenderstem brocolli, crispy duck fat potatoes and a cider cream sauce

ROASTED VEGETABLE WELLINGTON (V, Ve)
served with crispy roast potatoes, sweet baby carrots and tenderstem brocolli and drizzled with a light jus

DESSERTS

STRAWBERRY AND WHITE CHOCOLATE PAVLOVA (GF)
with vanilla sweetened cream and fresh summer berry coulis

STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING 
coated in a rich butterscotch sauce, served with a scoop of Isle of Arran traditional ice cream

SCORCHED LEMON MERINGUE PIE SUNDAE
with lemon curd, sweetened cream and tangy orange sorbet

TRIO OF ISLE OF ARRAN ICE CREAM (GF)
finished with sweetened cream and a drizzle of fresh summer fruit coulis

CHEF'S CHEESE BOARD (GF)
trio of cheeses, with spiced pear chutney, grapes and selection of biscuits
