Norah Miller is one of our long serving employees at SimpsInns and has been with the company for over 15 years. She began her SimpsInns journey as a Supervisor at the Gailes Hotel
before moving to Si! Bar:Restaurant
in 2013 to join the team for its grand opening.
No two days are the same for Norah, but overall, she makes sure that the restaurant functions as it should, everything is stocked and stored correctly, and all food is served at the high standard SimpsInns prides itself on. Each day in Si! is an opportunity to meet someone new so, with a smile on her face, Norah is always there to greet new and returning customers as they walk through the door.
Regulars, Alexis, her daughter Michelle and grandson Joe visit Si! almost every day for coffee and cake just to see Norah. Her charm and ability to make people feel comfortable and at home in the restaurant is exceptional. Seven year old, aforementioned, Joe, simply refers to Si! as, “Auntie Norah’s”
When asked what it was like to work in hospitality, Norah said, “Working in the hospitality industry can often be tough and grueling, but for me, coming in every morning and finishing my shift knowing that people have had a satisfying experience, always puts a smile on my face”.
Si! wouldn't be the same without her.
